USTA Southern Committee Structure
USTA Southern's committee structure includes five divisions: Administrative, Adult, Community Tennis, Junior, & Marketing. Each committee consists of a chair, vice chair, committee members and a staff member. All USTA Southern committees require SafePlay certification which includes training and background check.
Administrative Division committees include: Constitution & Rules, Finance & Budget Review, Grievance, and Investment.
Adult Division committees include: Adult League, Adult Age Group Tournament, Adult Rating-Based & Entry Level Play, and Collegiate, Tennis on Campus & High School Committee.
Community Tennis Division committees include: Adaptive Tennis, Community Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Parks, Tennis Officials, and Wheelchair Tennis.
Junior Division committees include: Junior Competition, Junior Play, National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL), and Schools & After School.
Marketing Division committees include: Awards, Marketing & Communications, and Tennis Pro Relations.
Each committee's work timeline and meeting schedule is determined by its Chair, in conjunction with the Section President for the term. Please view the current committee charges here. This does not necessarily reflect the structure that will be in place for 2027-2028.
Please understand that when applying, changes may ultimately be made to certain committees and possibly the scope of that committee's work. It is possible that an existing committee may be combined or absorbed into another committee.
